2012 immigration update
Here we go again. Well if you’re tired of hearing about us and immigration just skip this update. Last year we lived in Manila and handled all our immigration stuff in Manila. This year we live about 6 hrs north of Manila and thought we could take care of our immigration stuff at an office about 1.5 hrs away. Three weeks ago we checked with the closer office and they said they could handle our visa renewal with no problems. So we got all our paperwork together and took it to the office today. Today they said that last week the rules changed and they can no longer handle our visa. Our visa can now only be handled in Manila. So tomorrow morning at 3:00 am I will be going to Manila to file our paperwork. This gets the process started. If I understand everything correctly I will have to make at least 3 more trips to Manila over the course of the next two months to get it all done. That is how it worked when we lived in Manila anyhow. Also we have some new friends that were told they could do their initial application for their visas at the office nearby. That has also changed and they will now need to do everything in Manila. Please pray for them as they also have some other paperwork that will need to be done before they can apply. Please be praying for me (Jeff ) as I make another really long day of driving to Manila, doing paperwork and driving home that night. more sam update
Just got off the phone with Sam's pediatrician. It looks like we will be taking him to Manila tomorrow. She's concerned about the rash that he has. Concerned that it's a viral infection. We'll be leaving very early in the morning to make the 4+ hour drive to Manila. Please keep praying.

sam update
Sam's fever is down some. Not completely gone but down. He still seems to feel pretty sick and wont eat because when he does it comes right back up. The good news is that it doesn't seem to be Dengue at this point.
